THE RESURRECTION OF MARY.
GHOSTS ON THE ROADS

The story of the resurrection of Mary is considered one of the most famous ghost cases in the paranormal community. The story begins on a winter night in Chicago in 1934, when a young woman is killed in a car accident on her way to her house. Five years later, in 1939, a taxi driver picks up a girl in a white dress. She sits in the front seat and explains to the driver where she wants to go.
After driving for a long time, the young woman suddenly tells him to stop and simply disappears from inside the taxi. The taxi driver looked around and realized that he was parked in front of the local cemetery, where the young woman was buried. As the story goes, in 1877 a woman locked a girl named Mary in the graveyard. The young woman tried to escape from her, scratching at the metal bars, but she ended up dying without anyone being able to help her.

A SPIRIT IN BLACK AND WHITE.
GHOSTS ON THE ROADS

Apparently sometimes ghost hitchhikers don’t always hitchhike. In the mid-1980s, a woman named Roxie was driving on a highway near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada when she was startled to see a spirit sitting in the seat next to her. Roxie assured that it was not flesh and blood and it was really scary.
She had shades of black, gray and white, as if a black and white movie was being projected in her car. The clothing of this being was from the Victorian era. The encounter only lasted a few seconds, before disappearing.
These are just a few true stories of ghost encounters on highways and highways, a phenomenon that continues to occur today. Although for the most skeptical they are only urban legends, there are cities that take it very seriously, with traffic signs with the figure of a ghost to warn drivers of the presence of ghost hitchhikers and thus avoid accidents, some of them fatal. .
Cases occur in all parts of the world and each country has its own ghost hitchhikers, which will increase over time. Have you ever stopped with your vehicle to pick up a ghost hitchhiker? Tell us…
