It’s been just three weeks after the entire US and much of the world was entranced and awed by four balloon-shaped UFOs crossing from west to east over the airspace of the northern US and southern US. Canada. The most famous of these ‘UFOs’ turned out to be a balloon from China that was shot down once it reached the US East Coast. Three weeks later, however, its true purpose (espionage, weather, weapons, something else ) has not been disclosed. The other three UFOs or balloons were also shot down by missiles fired from jets, but searches for their remains have been called off and their origin has also not been determined. The one we are interested in today is the unusual UFO shot down over Michigan’s Lake Huron. We call it ‘unusual’ for several reasons: the first high-tech missile fired at it missed; the UFO was “octagonal” in shape and had long things hanging from it that the pilots could not identify; the UFO was over Lake Huron, a lake with over 1,000 shipwrecks, including over 100 at a place called Shipwreck Alley; the area surrounding Lake Huron is densely populated, heavily forested, and heavily cultivated. Was there something unusual about this UFO that caused the missile to miss? Could it have been the dangling objects? Were the string-like objects angel hair, the strange phenomena reported around the world? Was this a jellyfish UFO or an attempt to use those objects to kidnap cattle? Or humans? Did Lake Huron itself have anything to do with his attraction to the area…and his disappearance? including more than 100 in a place called Shipwreck Alley; the area surrounding Lake Huron is densely populated, heavily forested, and heavily cultivated. Was there something unusual about this UFO that caused the missile to miss? Balloon, Space Jellyfish, Angel Hair, Cattle Raider: The Lake Huron UFO MysteryHow could they fail?

“I really wouldn’t call it a balloon… I don’t know what… I can see it outside with my eyes. It looks like something… there’s some kind of object that’s distended… it’s hard to tell, it’s quite small.”

Cockpit audio transcripts obtained by  The Drive  indicate the pilots weren’t sure what they were up against; while one decided it wasn’t a balloon, the other said it was. They noted that it was moving slowly and was smaller than a car, more like a “four wheeler.” There was also some debate about its shape, octagonal or cylindrical, but the most unusual feature was below.

“On the guidance pod, I can’t tell if it’s metal or what, but I can see lines going down below, but I can’t see anything below. You can definitely see ropes below, but you don’t see anything hanging below.”

While some took the “strings” as evidence that it was a large party balloon floating over Lake Huron, there were many on the UFO side who wondered if this could be a jellyfish UFO or an alien jellyfish. Since jellyfish creatures are so unusual, it’s only natural that some would think they’re aliens, a rumor also linked to octopuses and squids. This is helped by things in the sky that look like jellyfish. The most common are caused by rocket or missile launches that look like glowing orbs with tentacles behind them. Meteorologists also note that noctilucent clouds or clouds that glow at night have faint trails that could be mistaken for a strange airborne creature or ship. If you believe in jellyfish UFOs,

One suggestion is that these dangling ropes or metal ropes are used to capture and retrieve animals or humans and bring them to a ship like a primitive tractor beam. There have been unverified photos of cattle being airlifted like that: one was recently posted on Reddit of an alleged kidnapping in Montana in 2016. (See it here.) The  Lake Huron area is surrounded by farmland that could attract aliens. cattle rustlers, although there have been few reports of them. There are also major cities around it that could provide humans to be kidnapped, or the tentacles could be hoses to draw water from the lake. Unfortunately, neither of these could be confirmed because the UFO balloon was shot down.

Another theory is that the faint bites were “angel hair,” a phenomenon often linked to UFOs, fairies, or religious apparitions. Sticky, fibrous, spider web-like strings were reported at the “Miracle of Fatima” in 1917 and on a clear day in Oloron, France in 1952. Scientific explanations include spiders using webs to migrate or atmospheric electricity polarizing dust. on strings. On the paranormal side, some suggest that a G-field surrounding a UFO could cause heavy atoms in normal air to react with each other and produce a precipitate that falls to the ground and disappears. Again, this could not be verified at Lake Huron because the UFO balloon was shot down.

While the number of shipwrecks on Lake Huron dates back to 1679, when the first European ship to sail it, Le Griffon, was also the first to sink on it, most have been attributed to its deep waters, storms, and heavy traffic. of boats… any kind of triangle on Lake Huron. However, there is another anomaly about the Lake Huron UFO: the first missile missed its target.

“What the audio recordings do not reveal is the engagement process, although we do know that two AIM-9Xs were possibly fired, based on footage showing two F-16s returning to base apparently each expending a Sidewinder.”

The Drive reported that each of the F-16s pursuing the Lake Huron UFO fired a Sidewinder missile at it, one of which disappeared and the other shot it down. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, confirmed that one of the short-range AIM-9X Sidewinders, which see heat to find its target, failed to hit its target and fell “harmlessly into the water of Lake Huron.” ». Why did one miss in what appeared to be very close visual range…possibly less than three miles? The Drive notes that the Pentagon said the F-16s may have had difficulty getting a radar track on these objects, due to their very low radar cross section.

While the UFO may not have been, the bottom line is clear: the Lake Huron balloon UFO was highly unusual and it seems strange and suspicious that there wasn’t a major effort to recover it. Does the military want it to remain hidden from the public? If so… why? While there might be the obvious embarrassment that two fighter pilots needed two high-tech missiles to bring down a low-tech balloon, there are just too many unusual features and circumstances to suggest there is more to this UFO than we’re told.
Balloon, Space Jellyfish, Angel Hair, Cattle Raider: The Lake Huron UFO MysteryAre you sure it wasn’t a space jellyfish?

While some may think this was a whimsical exercise, it should be noted that the world’s strongest military was involved in this UFO encounter, and was quickly dealt with and swept away without providing any evidence or details as to what it was. Will we ever learn more about the Lake Huron UFO? Could it be something other than a balloon? Is it safe for the public to go looking for debris?

Like a balloon on a windy day, we may want to hold on to this one for a while longer.
